My name is Hetty Veldkamp and I am a landscape artist, working primarily in oils, living and working in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. Ever since I was a child, I have loved the outdoors. What I especially love is the beauty and peace of the landscape of the more remote northern parts of Canada. The lakes, trees, islands and rocks are beautiful; the ever-changing skies and water are an inspiration to me. My work is inspired by the peace of what I observe in nature.
